Tienly mirror defoggers are adhesive heating pads. When installed properly, it will prevent efficiently the build-up of fog on the surface area. In order to achieve the desired results, be sure to follow all of the installation instructions provided below.
Installation procedures
- The foundation for installation of fog free mirror must be strong enough and smooth. If you adopt laying cable on ambush form, the base surface must keep a way for exit, cable pipe and cable cassette to lead out electric source cable of the fog free mirror (see the following picture).

- In the consideration of practical use and the beautification, select and buy the proper mirror defogger.
- Lay the mirror defogger in proper position of the back surface of mirror, make a mark on it, then take off the white paper below the defogger, both men pull it in level and aim at the mark, paste it from upper, require that the mirror defogger does not warp and does not exist bubble.
- When beginning to install, the power supply cable may get though the cable pipe, use a single switch or use a common switch, which is parallel connection with the light switch.
- Electric heated mirror may use mirror pins to fix it, all sides of mirror may use neutral gluey to seal up, keep the internal part of mirror dry to avoid corrosion of mercury layer in the back of mirror.
Finish the installation and charge with electricity about 5 minutes, then you can immediately use it. |

Draw out the leading cable from preinstalled exit, it must be to avoid curling in the back of fog free mirror, and may lead to the mirror surface uneven. |

Electric heated mirror may have a slight expansion as charged with electricity, so please allow a 2mm gap on the edges of mirror when you work for the installation. |

Must be used the neutral sealed gluey and avoid to use the gluey of acidity or alkalinity to prevent damage to the mercury coating of the fog-free mirror. |

Don’t cut or drill holes through the mirror defogger. And the mechanical damage should be avoided. |

Do not strongly draw out the power supply cable of mirror defogger to prevent the electric circuit from damage. |

The best environment of installation is the temperature higher than 10℃, the back of mirror and the surface of defogger should keep in dry and clean, and beware of water vapor. |

When you are in storage of the product, you should place it in shade, cold and dry location. |
